The Library Store
The design concept for The Library Store navigated the challenge of combining old and new elements while introducing modern upgrades to a century-old building. Aimed at addressing this juxtaposition thoughtfully and elegantly, a lenticular design scheme was implemented. Custom angled walls and display structures were utilized to create two distinct optical experiences within one space.
Upon entering the store, guests are greeted by attention-grabbing blue walls, offering a vibrant and modern atmosphere that aligns with the Store's brand. However, from the other side, the blue is concealed by the angles, revealing warm dark wood shelves inspired by the original elements found throughout the Library. This design approach seamlessly marries contemporary aesthetics with the historical context of the space, providing a unique and visually captivating experience for visitors.
